RegInOut System Utilities

There are numerous issues to encounter while using a computer. Fortunately, most of them can be fixed without taking the computer apart. A cluttered hard drive, fragmented data or registry errors are the most common sources for many problems. RegInOut System Utilities includes a good number of tools, which can be used to fix these problems and to optimize the operating system. The software's features are easy to understand, so you don't need advanced knowledge if you want to benefit from its capabilities.

The program's installation file is almost 2 MB and it takes about a minute to complete the setup process. The wizard will guide you through a straightforward and familiar procedure and it will not attempt to install additional tools or applications. You can use the software on Windows XP or any later edition, up to Windows 8.

The available features are organized on separate pages, which can be accessed via navigation tabs, located on the left side of the interface. All maintenance tools are placed on the same page, so you don't have to go from one section to another, if you wish to perform different tasks. You can access a summary of your performed tasks and the software's general settings on different pages.

The Home page is the place where you can find the application's core features. It provides a wide variety or tools for cleaning up the registry, removing junk data, defragmenting the hard drive, optimizing web browsers, managing startup programs and more. RegInOut System Utilities displays short descriptions for each tool, so you will know which one to use and when.

In certain cases, you must tell the program which items to scan and clean, by clicking a series of check boxes. For example, if you wish to remove junk files, you can target cookies, saved form information, caches and other data from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. System data, like recent documents, temp files, recycle bin contents or other items can be selected as well. Before it removes anything, the software will perform an analysis and it will tell you how much disk space you can save, what errors are found and so on.

When cleaning up the registry, you can add individual results to an Ignore list, if you don't want to remove them. The Ignore list itself can be found on the general settings page, where you can also set the program to launch automatically when Windows starts or to perform automatic registry cleanups or to set up a schedule. Additionally, you can set it to create a restore point before each repair.
